Trip To The Auckland Central Library

On Thursday the 29th of May we visited the Auckland Central Library.  The children's area is quite new and is very cool.  There are lots of awesome books to read and fun places to read them.  We went up stairs to the George Grey Specialist section where we saw the smallest and the oldest books the library have.  We were even allowed to have our morning tea in the library.  Later we got to go down into the lower levels of the library where they store lots of books and other things such as maps.  It was amazing.  We also did a quiz and a rebus and Mrs Venville read us some stories.

    My favourite part of the Auckland Library Trip was going in the basement. It was amazing!!!!!

    In the George Grey Specialist section, we saw a very old book, written in Latin, and we saw the smallest dictionary in the world. All i saw on that tiny dictionary was tiny words that i couldn't see clearly.

    that trip was amazing the basement had loads of books and the children's area was so cool i wish i could go there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    In the basement, we looked at a book that had information about Eternal Villains. It was an interesting book.

    The library a very fun place to learn about literacy and fairy tales. But the basement is still my favourite place!!
